INGREDIENTS : EGGS - 02 Nos.
Grated Coconut - 01 Cup
Coriander Powder - 1/2 Tbsp
Chilly Powder - 1 Tbsp
Curry Leaves - 05 Nos.
Tomato - 01 No.
Onion - 02 Nos.
Water - 02 Cups for gravy mixing
Salt to Taste
How to Prepare Egg Masala Curry
TAKE 02 EGGS & CLEAN ITS OUTER LAYER PROPERLY.
BOIL EGG FOR 5 MINUTES, KEEP IT ASIDE.
COCONUT/ COCONUT POWDER / COCONUT MIX, HEAT IT PROPERLY AND MIX IT WITH CORIANDER POWDER 2 TSPOON FULL.
ADD RED CHILLY POWDER, MIX ALL THESE ITEMS WELL.
HEAT IT PROPERLY TILL THE COLOUR BECOMES BROWN.
USE A MIXER GRINDER TO MAKE A PASTE OF ALL THE ABOVE INGREDIENTS.
TAKE A KADAI AND HEAT IT WELL PUT 2 TSPOON FULL OIL
ADD ONE ONION CUT INTO PIECES INTO IT.
HEAT THE ONION PROPERLY TILL IT BECOMES LIGHT BROWN
ADD ONE TOMATO CUT INTO PIECES INTO IT.
HEAT BOTH TOMATO ALONG WITH ONION TILL TOMATO BECOMES SMOOTH AND BOILED, SO THAT THE TOMATO TASTE WILL BECOME GENUINE.
LITTLE SALT FOR TASTE AND SOME CURRY LEAVES FOR TASTE.
ADD THE PASTE OF COCONUT INTO THE KADAI ALONG WITH ONION AND TOMATO MIX.
MIX IT WELL AND POUR ONE AND HALF CUP WATER INTO AND BOIL IT FOR SOME TIME IN MEDIUM FLAME.
ADD THE EGG AFTER REMOVING OUTER LAYER AND GIVE CUT ON BOTH SIDES OF THE EGG FOR ABSORBING THE MASALA. OR CUT THE EGG INTO TWO PIECES AND ADD IT TO THE MIXER IN THE KADAI. AGAIN BOIL IT FOR 5 MINUTES AGAIN IN MEDIUM FLAME.
YOUR EGG MASALA IN KERALA STYLE IS READY. YOU CAN USE IT WITH RICE OR CHAPATHI OR PARATHA OR BREAD.
